Five Weekend Learning Program in Psychotherapy and Counselling.

Dr. Mel Borins –Course Director

This interactive program will provide an intensive year-long introductory course on current approaches and techniques to help physicians increase their knowledge and clinical skills in office counselling and psychotherapy. Participants will develop enhanced ability to work with psychosocial issues and the patient-doctor relationship. Principles of psychotherapy will be emphasized.

Entry level concepts and skills will encourage physicians who are starting to include counselling / psychotherapy into their practice. Those more experienced will increase their level of competence and confidence by examining their own learning needs and developing strategies to strengthen and reinforce their own expertise.  The emphasis will be on active participation, including “hands-on” practice and mentoring with skilled clinicians.

What's New

NEW RELEASE OF "POSSIBILITIES-THE ELECTRONIC PHOTOSONGBOOK"

Pronoia is the opposite of paranoia. It is the belief that the universe is plotting to make you happy and there is nothing you can do about it. When you enter this Pronoic state you have delusions of support and the delusion that other people have your best interests at heart.

These optimistic songs and photos from around the world are intended to put you in a positive frame of mind. Listen to my music, read the words, gaze at the images and you will feel more positive about yourself, other people and the world around you.
